Condition: While the interior pages remain clean, bright, and fully legible, the set has sustained notable condition issues due to its substantial weight. Internally, both volumes show pulling of the front and back covers away from the text blocks, with visible tearing of the paper and fabric linings at the top and bottom of the internal spine areas. The internal pages remain securely gathered. The slipcase shows a 2-3 inch split at the opening edge and on the back corner. There is a crease and compression to the front leading corner of the slipcase.
