Condition:   The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age.  Overall condition is good.  Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness.  An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes:  Rare Omega black dial with painted Roman numerals.  Special edition made for the Japanese market with this unique dial combination.  Bi-directional rotating inner bezel.  Limited edition of 4938 watches.

In 1848, Louis Brandt founded La Generale Watch Co. in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  In 1903, he changed the name to Louis Brandt et Frere – Omega Watch & Co which was changed once more to the current Omega SA in 1982.  Throughout it’s rich history, Omega was chosen as the official watch for Britain’s Royal Flying Corps in 1917, the US Army in 1918, and most famously for NASA in 1969.  Some of Omega’s most well known models are – Omega Speedmaster Professional, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Omega Constellation, Omega De Ville, Omega Dynamic, Omega Flightmaster, and Omega Railmaster.  Not as widely known, Omega even created a Tourbillon in 1947.
