Very fine and very rare men’s 18k pink gold H. Moser & Cie Perpetual 1 wristwatch, ref #341.501-004.  Sun pattern silver plated H. Moser & Cie dial with yellow gold baton hour markers.  Featuring a perpetual “flash calendar,” double barrel 7 day power reserve, power reserve indicator, leap year indicator, and double pull crown allows the time and date to be adjusted forwards or backwards.  Feuille hands with an arrow hand month indicator.  Swiss made, mechanical manual wind movement, Moser cailber HMC 341.501.  See through skeleton case back displaying the leap year.  Comes on a brown H. Moser & Cie alligator strap with an 18k rose gold H. Moser & Cie deployant buckle.  Accompanied by a fitted H. Moser & Cie watch box.  Approximate diameter is 41mm.

Appears to be in unworn condition.  Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness.  An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.

H. Moser & Cie was founded by Heinrich Moser in 1828 in St. Petersburg, Russia.  The following year, Moser opened a watch factory in Le Locle, Switzerland.  In addition to his passion for watches, Heinrich Moser was also an industrial pioneer who helped local industries such as building a dam and turbine in the Rhine.  In 1953, H. Moser & Cie transitioned from pocket watches to wristwatches.  In 2006, the Moser Perpetual Calendar won the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix.  H. Moser & Cie has since been highly regarded by collectors as an exclusive independent Swiss manufacturer.  They are known for creating highly complicated watches that are simply elegant with remarkable brevity such as the Endeavour Concept Tourbillon Minute Repeater, Endeavour Flying Hours, Endeavour Moon Concept, Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time, Pioneer Perpetual Calendar, Swiss Alp Watch Minute Repeater Tourbillon, and Heritage Perpetual Moon.
