Unusual and very rare limited anniversary edition sterling silver Tank Must de Cartier wristwatch with date, ref #2414. Circa 1999. Limited edition of 100 pieces only. Must de Cartier salmon colored guilloche dial with painted black Roman numerals with an Arabic 13 at the 12 o`clock. Secret Cartier signature on the seventh hour. Blue cabochon crown. Swiss made, Cartier quartz movement. Case back stamped ARGENT 925 and engraved “13 rue de la Paix, 1899 – 1999” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Cartier Joaillerie. Comes on a generic leather strap with a stainless steel Tokki tang buckle. Accompanied by an original fitted green leather Cartier box stamped “13 RUE DE LA PAIX, 1899 – 1999,” original numbered Cartier certificate matching the case back, Cartier manual, Cartier warranty booklet (no longer valid), Cartier hang tag, and a stainless steel Cartier deployant buckle without strap (not shown). Approximate dimensions are 25mm x 33mm.
Has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. The overall condition is very good. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
In 1847, Cartier was founded by Louis-François Cartier.
