Condition: The hands and hour markers have areas of spotting throughout, as can be expected. The dial has areas of patina and discoloration, light bubbling throughout, and has been previously refreshed, as can be expected with age. The case has areas of patina throughout, and the case back has areas of tarnish around the edges due to storage and age. It has a replacement generic winding crown. The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. Overall condition is good. Running at the time of inspection, however, was not checked for accuracy. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes: Fancy curved lugs. Crisp gold hallmark on the top left lug. The Rolex Bombay was originally known as the Rolex Bombe, which described its accentuated fancy curved lugs. Case back has the 1/4 century engraving with the awardee’s name and a 5 digit number.
