Condition: The hands have areas of discoloration throughout as can be expected. The dial has areas of light spotting throughout and has been previously refreshed as can be expected with age. The hour hand is blue steel and the minute hand is black. The case and crown have areas of discoloration throughout especially around the edges. The watch has scratches and pitting due to normal wear and age. Overall condition is fair. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes: The dial and movement are signed Tavannes. The movement has a five digit number. The inside of the case back is stamped STAINLESS STEEL BACK SWISS MADE, it is also stamped with a six digit and three digit number. Fixed spring bar case. Unusual vintage oversized watch.
