Condition: Has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. There are a couple of areas of tiny specks on the dial and under the crystal, which can probably be cleaned off by a watchmaker. The crystal has hairline scratches throughout. Overall condition of the watch is good. The inner and outer Omega boxes have wear as can be expected due to age and storage. Running at the time of inspection, however, not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.

Gents stainless steel Omega Speedmaster chronograph wristwatch with date, ref #3513.60. Salmon colored Omega Speedmaster dial with 3 registers and a date window at the 3 o’clock. Stainless steel engraved Tachymetre bezel. Swiss made, self winding automatic movement. Case back stamped with the Omega Hippocampus seahorse logo in the center. Comes on a stainless steel Omega bracelet with an Omega deployant buckle. Bracelet stamped #1562 with matching #850 end pieces. Accompanied by an Omega watch box. Approximate diameter is 39 mm.

Unusual salmon colored Omega Speedmaster dial. The Omega #3513.60 is believed to have been made for the Japanese market.

In 1848, Louis Brandt founded La Generale Watch Co. in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In 1903, he changed the name to Louis Brandt et Frere – Omega Watch & Co., which was changed once more to the current Omega SA in 1982. Throughout its rich history, Omega was chosen as the official watch for Britain’s Royal Flying Corps in 1917, the US Army in 1918, and most famously for NASA in 1969. Some of Omega’s most well known models are – Omega Speedmaster Professional, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Omega Constellation, Omega De Ville, Omega Dynamic, Omega Flightmaster, and Omega Railmaster. Not as widely known, Omega even created a Tourbillon in 1947.
