Condition: The dial has areas of discoloration throughout, especially around some edges. The seconds hand has small areas of discoloration throughout. The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. The overall condition of the watch is very good. Running at the time of inspection, however, was not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes: Very rare and fine men’s Consul watch with distinctive flexible fancy legs. Art Deco style dial. The jumbo case is quite unusual for vintage men’s watches of the same time period. Another extraordinary feature of this Consul watch is the moving lugs. A watch in this condition with an oversized case and fancy moving lugs is extremely difficult to find.
